Contemporary Family home in Singapore by ONG&ONG

Architects ONG & ONG has recently completed one of the magnitudes of the project to renovate a shop to be made in the family home with contemporary concepts. Located in the country with a tropical climate in the course of the architect renovating the shop is also adjusting to the conditions in the surrounding environment. The history of the building of this shop was started building from the early 1990s where the owner of this shop wants to make or change the shop into a family home that has the feel of a warm and able to preserve the historical character of the shop. Thus the owner hired the services of renowned architects ONG & ONG to design it.

Through the touch of the hands of highly experienced architects ONG & ONG this later started to work so now successfully renovating a shop into a contemporary family home that is very beautiful. Try it you see in the picture I included in this article, which started from the living room to the back of the house in the design proportionally, thus not reducing the slightest historical value shop. Once the renovation is finally experiencing it can be contemporary family home consists of two floors, where the first floor there is a living room, kitchen, and family room. An inner courtyard is created on the first floor, with the aim of sunlight and air to flow freely into and throughout the home.

To get to the second floor then connected with a spiral staircase that is very unique in my opinion, so that the guests who came and located on the first floor at the sight of this ladder immediately drawn to the eyes here. There are wooden beams on the ceiling of the first floor and the roof to add old world charm to the house. On the second floor there are two bedrooms one of which is the master bedroom, complete with a separate bathroom. Long hallway lined bookshelves and storage space. While in the back consists of a kitchen and a swimming pool with a size of 7 meters.
